Time for the next edition of Metal Anarchy’s “new music showcase,” the feature where I introduce you to bands that readers of this site may find interesting. This time I have an exclusive Q&A with Violent Idols.

METAL ANARCHY: Tell me a little about your band:
VIOLENT IDOLS: We are Violent Idols, a hard rock outfit based out of Las Vegas, NV. We started a few months ago with the release of our first track, the theme song for AEW wrestler Jon Moxley! We’ve been releasing a new song every few weeks ever since and have our first EP finished and coming out in 2020..
METAL ANARCHY: Who are your main influences?
VIOLENT IDOLS: Trent Reznor, Rob Zombie, and Alice Cooper to name a few.
METAL ANARCHY: What is your latest release and why should readers of this site check it out?
VIOLENT IDOLS: We just released the single and music video for our Doors cover of Break on Through (To the Other Side) featuring UK guitar shredder Andy James with a guest solo.
METAL ANARCHY: What can people expect when they go to your live shows?
VIOLENT IDOLS: A spectacle. We’re not just musicians, we’re entertainers so you can expect all-around chaos every night as we attempt to see how much we can get away with. Amidst all the lights, fog, costumes and sweaty bodies a better question might be what WON’T you see!? haha
METAL ANARCHY: Where do you see your band heading in 5 years?
VIOLENT IDOLS: I see our band establishing ourselves at rock radio internationally and continuing to build the hardcore audience that we already have. Right now we’re just focused on making the best songs we can and exploring the issues that matter to us and our fans through our art. We hope to be a beacon the underrepresented and disaffected souls of the world can rally and build a community around.
