Metal Anarchy’s New Music Showcase: Exclusive Q&A With Say Never

Time for the next edition of Metal Anarchy’s “new music showcase,” the feature where I introduce you to bands that readers of this site may find interesting. This time I have an exclusive Q&A with Say Never.

METAL ANARCHY: Tell me a little about your band:

SAY NEVER: Hi we’re Say Never! Band members are Jonathan Pruitt (rhythm guitar & vocals), Paul Lawrence (bass), Rick Gatheman (drums), Ben Sumpter (lead guitar). “Amazing live shows!” – Tom Lanzilloti – Columbia A&R.

METAL ANARCHY: Who are your main influences?

SAY NEVER: As a band I would say we take our influences from all over the musical spectrum and as more releases come out you’ll be able to see a great variance in the stuff we put out. We try to just play it our way and ignore whatever fads or trends might be out there.

METAL ANARCHY: What is your latest release and why should readers of this site check it out?

SAY NEVER: Our latest single is called “Do It Again” and we’ve released a video with it as well. The song is featuring Billy Grey (Fozzy, Tattoo The Scars) on lead guitar and the song was mixed by “The Duke of Metal” Rich Ward (Fozzy, Stuck Mojo).

METAL ANARCHY: What can people expect when they go to your live shows?

SAY NEVER: We LOVE to perform and really try to give a high energy show and connect with our audience.

METAL ANARCHY: Where do you see your band heading in 5 years?

SAY NEVER: We would like to be a part of some high profile festivals! Also we are looking forward to making new music and getting creative with our videos.

Say Never is not a signed band with a vast army to push and promote to the world, so we have to wear a lot of hats ourselves. We really appreciate every fan, supporter, friend and media outlet who takes a interest in our band. Please keep telling and sharing to anyone and everyone about Say Never as you can.
