Time for the next edition of Metal Anarchy’s “new music showcase,” the feature where I introduce you to up and coming bands that readers of this site may find interesting. This time I have an exclusive Q&A with electro-rock duo Trash Deity.

METAL ANARCHY: Tell me a little about your band:
TRASH DEITY: JDN: Trash Deity is a duo of Groovie Mann from My Life With The Thrill Kill Kule and myself, John D. Norten from Blue EyeD Christ. We formed in the depths of Los Angeles 3 years ago.
METAL ANARCHY: Who are your main influences?
TRASH DEITY: GM: David Bowie, Alex Harvey,
JDN: Prince, Janes Addiction, Social Distortion.
METAL ANARCHY: What can you say about your latest release and why should readers of this site check it out?
TRASH DEITY: JDN: Our new album is called Cross & Divide and you should check it out because the song “A Perfect One” is louder, faster, and noisier than anything else in your magazine.
GM: people should check it out because it’s got the kick you need in your butt, it will get you going.
METAL ANARCHY: What can people expect when they go to your live shows?
TRASH DEITY: GM: Mimes and strippers
JDN: Arrests and complaints, a multimedia adventure, and broken bones.
METAL ANARCHY: Where do you see your band heading in 5 years?
TRASH DEITY: JDN: on tour as a Lounge act Duo.
