Time for the next edition of Metal Anarchy’s “new music showcase,” the feature where I introduce you to up and coming bands that readers of this site may find interesting. This time I have an exclusive Q&A with Eric Gynan of the hard rock band Leaving Eden.

METAL ANARCHY: Tell me a little about your band:

Gynan: Hi great to talk to you I’m Eric Gynan co-founder of leaving Eden from the Boston Mass area. Leaving Eden is a female fronted band. Eve is the lead vocalist. She’s really good at what she does. So we’re primarily a heavy band but we do acoustic stuff and some stuff that you can dance to the beat. Is lots of Melody and Harmony going on with some electronic enhancements. The live show is full of energy and a connection with the crowd.

METAL ANARCHY: Who are your main influences?

Gynan: Lot’s! From Black Sabbath to Pop Evil. Fleetwood Mac to Shinedown.

METAL ANARCHY: What is your latest release and why should readers of this site check it out?

Gynan: Out of the Ashes Album recorded by Johnny K. mastered by Brad Blackwood and produced by myself. This album does have songs in movies and TV series.

We now have an Official Release date for the new Leaving Eden Live Xtreme Rockumentary Blu-ray and DVD to be Released Worldwide on 09/07/18 via SGL Entertainment and Dark Star Records

We released a single from Thin Lizzy called “Jailbreak” reinterpreted by Leaving Eden. Jailbreak is going to be on our new album to be released October 19th 2018 again called descending through Dark Star records/Sony music worldwide.

METAL ANARCHY: What can people expect when they go to your live shows?

Gynan: Expect to be entertained with lots of energy. We really like to include the crowd, after all we are all having some fun together.

METAL ANARCHY: Where do you see your band heading in 5 years?

Gynan: We’ve been to Hollywood so having songs in movies I feel will be happening much more.
