Bring Me The Horizon’s Oli Sykes will be opening a new 220-capacity venue, called Church, in the band’s hometown of Sheffield, England on July 6. The venue is expected to feature “live music, vegan food, tattoos, retro gaming and South American religious iconography.” Sykes told Kerrang! the following:
“Our building has incredible heritage and I wanted to develop [an arcade bar] concept that truly celebrated and developed that legacy. We wanted something that fitted with William John Hale’s original and stunning design [of the building] but provided something to wow 21st century customers. Our strap line is ‘Temple of Fun’ – we provide a whole experience.”
