Metal Anarchy’s New Music Showcase: Exclusive Q&A With My Secret Circus

Time for the next edition of Metal Anarchy’s “new music showcase,” the feature where I introduce you to up and coming bands that readers of this site may find interesting. This time I have an exclusive Q&A with Dan Marazita of My Secret Circus.

METAL ANARCHY: Tell me a little about your band:

MARAZITA: We are a 4 piece rap rock band from Melbourne Australia. We all played in different bands in the traps on the music scene over here, where Shane who recently joined the family has been the band’s front of house sound guy from the start and with a strange twist of fate has become apart of the MSC lineup. It’s hard to find a tight brotherhood and now we couldn’t be happier.

METAL ANARCHY: Who are your main influences?

MARAZITA: Speaking for myself here, I grew up influenced by many different artists: Faith No More, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tupac, Rage Against The Machine, System Of A Down. There are so many. It changes week to week.

METAL ANARCHY: What is your latest release and why should readers of this site check it out?

MARAZITA: We have just dropped our new single called “The War Games” along with a piss take video of Trump and Kim Jong Un in the boxing ring working their differences out. A must watch!!

METAL ANARCHY: What can people expect when they go to your live shows?

MARAZITA: Our live shows are action packed and full of energy. We are running around the place in your face. We don’t let you up for a breath. Connection with the audience is a must for us. If you they ain’t moving we ain’t going hard enough.

METAL ANARCHY: Where do you see your band heading in 5 years?

MARAZITA: Who knows what the future will bring, but I’d like to think we would still be bringing out high intensity songs for you guys to listen to and get to every country and town around the world to bring the live experience to every single one of you!
