According to SIlive.com, Vice Inc., whose chief executive officer and principal executive officer are Art Of Anarchy’s Jonathan Votta and Vince Votta, have filed a $1.2 million dollar lawsuit against frontman Scott Stapp (Creed, etc.) for allegedly breaching his contract by not touring with the band and not taking part in promotional photo and video shoots, as well as publicity events. The claim also says that the group, who also feature John Moyer (Disturbed) and Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (ex-Guns N’ Roses), lost their recording contract with Century Media due to Stapp failing to fulfill his contractual obligations. Vice also say that they loaned Stapp $200,000, which he never repayed. He also only played 18 dates with the band in 2017, and never showed up for a video shoot on the deck of the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum on the Hudson River in Manhattan in October 2017. Stapp joined the band in 2016 as a replacement for the late Scott Weiland, who was also sued by Art Of Anarchy for similar reasons. In that case, the band wanted to recover the $230,000 they paid him, plus an additional $20 million for damages. Prior to his death, Weiland called the group a scam and counter-sued.
