According to the Associated Press, Twisted Sister are suing John D’Esposito, the promoter of the 2016 Rock Carnival in Lakewood, New Jersey, due to them only receiving $50,000 out of the $200,000 they were owed for playing the festival. In court papers D’Esposito explained that they were having financial issues because “refunds had to be issued” to “thousands of people [who] were prevented from attending because of torrential rains and excessive winds.” You can read more about all that via Associated Press.
