Prince has tragically passed away at the age of 57. His body was discovered at his Paisley Park compound in Minnesota, just days after his private jet was forced to make an emergency landing in Illinois, due to health concerns, which the singer said was just a flu. He also previously cancelled some live performances as well.
Prince’s publicist Yvette Noel-Schure said the following:
“It is with profound sadness that I am confirming that the legendary, iconic performer, Prince Rogers Nelson, has died at his Paisley Park residence this morning at the age of 57.”
