Lynyrd Skynyrd have now cancelled four more live shows due to a family emergency involving Johnny Van Zant’s daughter. This news comes after the band previously cancelled their Anchorage, AK show. The group said the following about the situation:
“Lynyrd Skynyrd has announced the cancellation of four appearances. Performances impacted are 9/26 (West Valley, UT), 9/27 (Loveland, CO), 9/28 (Colorado Springs, CO) and 9/29 (Albuquerque, NM). Johnny Van Zant’s daughter had a sudden emergency illness. He has left the tour to be with her while they continue testing, diagnosis, and treatment. For all ticket holders, direction to secure a refund will be forthcoming from the local promoter shortly.”
