Concert Review: Theory Of A Deadman At The Alameda County Fair

Last night (June 19), I attended Theory Of A Deadman’s show at the Alameda County Fair in Pleasanton CA and it was fun night full of hard rockin’ music. The group opened with a thunderous performance of the title track to their latest album “Dinosaur” and sustained that energy while playing a set full of fan-favorites connected by partial covers of songs from Guns N’ Roses, Journey, Garth Brooks, etc. Everything was solid on all fronts ranging from the band’s impeccable musicianship to frontman Tyler Connolly’s charismatic stage presence. If you have a chance to catch them on this current run or their upcoming acoustic tour (dates pending), go! It’ll definitely be worth your time. Some highlights from the set included “Lowlife,” “Angel,” Better Off,” “Bitch Came Back,” “Hate My Life,” “Rx (Medicate),” and “Bad Girlfriend.”
