Bring Me The Horizon Guest On New Masked Wolf Song “Fallout”

Bring Me The Horizon are featured on a new Masked Wolf song titled “Fallout.” You can check that out below. Notably, the track was influenced by HVDES and it also features some of her vocals and production.

Masked Wolf commented:

“I haven’t done a collaboration that felt dark; I always felt that my brand had that edge of darkness to it, and I was waiting for the right opportunity to come along. When I heard ‘Fallout’, it grabbed me straight away. The way I felt like I was meant to be in the rubble but could still be brought out, that’s the feeling it gave me. The way the song builds over time made me feel like there was nothing wrong with it at all. To me, it’s perfectly structured and gives me the emotions I love diving deeper into when writing songs.”

Bring Me The Horizon’s Oli Sykes added:

“This collaboration came around in a super interesting way with talk of us making something for a film, so we had to approach it in a different way, which resulted in a really dark and cinematic vibe, and we felt HVDES’ influence fit so perfectly for that mood. Then adding Wolf’s vocals onto it gave it this deeper feel, which is again another totally new world for Bring Me The Horizon to step into.”

Lamb Of God Team Up With Megadeth Members For Cover Of “Wake Up Dead”

Lamb Of God have released a cover of Megadeth’s “Wake Up Dead.” A video for the track, which features Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine, Kiko Loureiro, James LoMenzo, and Dirk Verbeuren, can be found below:

Mustaine commented:

“We had a blast playing with Lamb of God on their cover of ‘Wake Up Dead.’ Almost as much fun as we’re going to have playing every night on Metal Tour of the Year. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone!”

Lamb Of God’s Randy Blythe continued:

“The first leg of the Metal Tour of the Year back in 2021 was a total blast, and we’re about to take it on the road again. What better way to kick it off than a little inter-band jam session? All nine members of Megadeth and Lamb of God are on the thrash classic ‘Wake Up Dead.’ Turn it up, and we’ll see you on the road!”

Lamb Of God’s Mark Morton added:

“‘Wake Up Dead’ was a massively important song for me as an aspiring young guitar player. It was one of the first songs that began my lifelong love of thrash metal and helped reinforce for me that, while solos may be fun, my allegiance is to the riff! So you can imagine what a thrill it’s been for Lamb to cover this legendary song with Dave and the rest of the Megadeth guys. Truly an honor. We all had a lot of fun putting this together and I think you can hear that energy in the track. I hope everybody enjoys this one and we can’t wait to see y’all on the Metal Tour of the Year.”

Islander Share Lyric Video For New Song “Skin Crawl” Featuring Korn, Zao & Living Sacrifice Members

Islander have shared a lyric video for their new song “Skin Crawl.” The track, which features Korn’s Brian “Head” Welch, Zao’s Dan Weyandt, and Living Sacrifice’s Bruce Fitzhugh, appears on the band’s newly released album “It’s Not Easy Being Human.”

Islander’s Mikey Carvajal said the following about the song:

“‘Skin Crawl‘ is a song about how trippy it is just to be alive. If you really think hard about life and death, I mean REALLY think about it, it’ll hurt your brain and make your skin crawl.”

He also added the following about the album:

“It’s not easy being human. It’s something everyone can relate to. We know that this life isn’t easy, and as frequently as we’ve all heard the saying, ‘people are dealing with their own struggles that we may never know about,’ we want to actually apply that knowledge into choosing to be good to one another.

It’s as simple as the title says…It’s Not Easy Being Human, so we hope it encourages everyone to show each other a little grace in this crazy life. We included a ton of our friends on the record from Korn, Underoath, Zao, P.O.D., I Prevail, Bad Brains, Living Sacrifice, Lacey Sturm, Fire From The Gods, and Hyro The Hero.

I’ve always been interested in seeing my favorite artists work together and we wanted to do that on this record, by leaning on one another, supporting one another, and just having a musical party. We even had the wrestling icon Sting star in a video for one of the tracks. A lot of rap albums have guests all over them, so we were like ‘why not just do that with our friends?’”
