The Agonist’s Vicky Psarakis made headlines earlier this year after claiming that former vocalist Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy) “has been trying to kill [the] band ever since she was fired.” White-Gluz then issued a statement denying all of the allegations, while also saying she would be “more than happy to talk to Vicky and put her concerns to rest.” Now, during an appearance on the “Vox&Hops” podcast, Psarakis discussed the situation further and said she would be open to talking to White-Gluz.
Psarakis said the following when asked about her initial comments:
“When that happened, in the back of my head, I kind of let it happen. And it was simply because — you know how it is when there’s an album release and the interviews are scheduled back to back. So there were some days where I had four or five interviews in a row. And lot of times, those questions coincided — same questions over and over again. So I reached, I guess, my boiling point, where I was, like, ‘You know what? This is it.’ And I kind of let it out. And it did kind of get blown out of proportion. But I kind of knew it was gonna happen. I didn’t expect the full extent of what happened, to be honest, and it wasn’t my intention. It was just more, like, I’ve been in the band for five years. Every single time anything remotely close to that is brought up, I just shut down and don’t say anything or avoid or redirect. And I just reached that point where it’s, like, ‘I’m done.’ And I just let it out. And in the moment, it felt really good. And it actually felt good afterwards too; it just felt like, ‘Ah. I can breathe again.’ And, of course, I got asked [about it] afterwards [by] other interviewers, just like you’re asking me now, I guess. But it felt good in that I didn’t feel that need anymore to talk about it anymore. It’s, like, well, it’s out there. Anyone can go and read it, if they want.”
She continued after being asked about White-Gluz’s response:
“How did I feel? It felt a bit underwhelmed. I was not anticipating it. I wasn’t anticipating a response at all, to be honest. I thought [they] would just let it die down. And then I read the response and I was, like, ‘Okay. They responded…'”
She also added the following when asked if she would be open to talking to White-Gluz:
“Sure. If she really wanted to, I’m here… It’s always been a bit weird for me in that, obviously, they have some beef. They were in a band together for 10 years or so. And not anymore, but I was ‘the new girl’… “
Psarakis also had the following to say after it was suggested that White-Gluz could join The Agonist onstage for a guest appearance to bury the hatchet:
“I’m sure it would be appreciated [by the fans]. On my end, I’m totally okay. Like I said, it was just a bit of a weird place for me, because I had nothing to do with this. I’m just the new person — or was the new person in the band. And if it wasn’t me, it would be someone else. So I felt a bit, like, ‘Why am I caught up in the middle of all this?’ So, obviously, if something good were to happen, why not let it happen?”
Music gear that used to belong to late Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Randy Rhoads has been stolen from the Musonia School Of Music in North Hollywood, CA. The sad news was confirmed by Randy’s sister Kathy Rhoads-D’Argenzio.
Kathy said the following:
“My heart is BROKEN. Some one broke into Our beloved Musonia …. And”Stoled History” 😪😪😪😪😪😪 everything is being assessed and under investigation. So no post as yet to exactly what was taken. I’m just at a loss for words right now. So very sad. Musonia was totally ransacked and suffered major damage.”
The administrator of The Randy Rhoads Society Facebook page also commented:
“Very sad turn of events! I just got a call from Kathy Rhoads and she is extremely upset at what’s happened to the Rhoads family and Musonia. I’ve been informed that someone has broken into MUSONIA and stolen Delores Rhoads instruments & some of Randy’s Quiet Riot gear! Completely unbelievable that someone would do this to the Rhoads family whom are always there for the fans and are very friendly and approachable. Totally blows me away! I have been asked by Kathy Rhoads to put this info out there, especially to the people in LA. We hope that someone will maybe hear something or maybe be of help acquiring the stuff back for Kathy Rhoads & family. If anyone hears anything or comes across any of the stolen items please contact us here at The Randy Rhoads Society. I was told by Kathy that they can’t really give too much info as of right now due to an active investigation. Regardless it’s very sad to hear as Randy & Delores are no longer with us which makes these stolen items priceless and irreplaceable. I will pass on more info as I get it . Any help finding info or the stolen items is much appreciated. It’s sad someone would do this to the Randy’s family! Kathy is understandably very upset right now.”

While She Sleeps have shared a new live video for “Haunt Me.“ The clip was filmed during the band’s June 29 set at the Vainstream Festival in Munster, Germany.
Earlier this year, DevilDriver were forced to cancel a number of shows after frontman Dez Fafara’s wife/business partner, Anahstasia Fafara, was diagnosed with cancer. Now, Anahstasia has offered a new health update, saying she has been given a “clean bill of health” after undergoing surgery to remove the disease.
Anahstasia said the following:
“Today I want to share with all of you some Amazing News!
This may be a long post🤷♀️
Almost two months ago I was diagnosed with Invasive Malignant Melanoma aka Skin Cancer.
Most melanoma under the skin grows from left to right and mine was growing DOWN,which was not a good sign.
It surely what would have been a much longer time period meaning if we went by the doctors that tried to schedule my appointments months out but my pushy and loving bull of a Husband was not going to let that Cancer just grow in me, so he took matters in his own hands and was extremely involved and had appointments and surgeries scheduled within weeks!!
My surgery was successful🌟 A very large deep incision on my leg returned “Clean Margins” meaning they removed all the Cancer! We were awaiting tests from another incision on my lymph nodes which they removed to check if it had spread. I had an amazing surgical team in Doctor MATTHEW Selleck and his partner RN Garret … FYI as they wheeled me into surgery they were blasting Nirvana Lol I knew then I was in very good and capable hands!😁
Next was an intense months long waiting game as they went over with not one but three pathologists to determine why I had a few dark cells in with my lymph nodes that clearly were not melanoma but were of concern. After 3 pathologists and a round table of Oncology doctors reviewed my cells they all determined that indeed fair haired , light eyed people and others sometimes have some dark cells in the lymph nodes nodes and that these were not a concern to them -Just an Anomy..
this gave me and my family the Clean Bill of Health but I must be seen every four months for the rest of my life to have ultra sounds and scans. I wanted to thank everyone who showed myself and my family love and concern. I know there are many dealing with a much worse cases of this deadly disease all over the World, my empathy and heart goes out to all the families enduring, waiting on tests, having surgeries and basically living at hospitals to try and survive.
This has been a life changing event for myself, my husband and all of our close family.
You truly come to find out who cares and who doesn’t and I have had such an out pouring of love from both those I know and many whom I’ve never met and for this I’m grateful. Thank you for all my DM messages. I read every one.
My husband took incredible care of me, cooked , cleaned , did all the house hold chores as I remained upstairs and unable to walk (I’m still very shaky and can’t be on my feet for to long I get these crazy zingers ) and for this compassion and he already knows but I love you Bradley and eternally Thankful.
My sons Kaleb @kalebfafara and Simon @simonfafara were My Absolute Rocks, going as far as to help build a tiki bar downstairs where I could sit and play vinyl and sing Donna Summer greatest hits (she’s my favorite guilty pleasure but I dare you to put on her greatest hits and not jam!) they Kept me lifted and my Heart Full of Love and Positivity.
To Dan Devita at TKO who made me a Fuck Cancer playlist to jam in the tiki bar and I love you for this.
Also Thank You to Hilde at Ink Against Cancer @inkagainstcancer for the support.
I post this picture above to show you my family as Randy @drandallblythe checked on me daily along with our inner family, all of DevilDriver @nealfingtiemann @michaelspreitzer @fnaustile83 @official_ashes , Coal Chamber @nadjapeulen @mikeycoxofficial @meegsrascon every Oracle Mgmt artist all checked in on me constantly and kept my hopes up, my Mother and father in laws, sister and brother in-laws all for checking on me daily and for this I’m eternally grateful – I’m grateful for LIFE and every day here on Gaia that I can spend with family and friends. Life is precious, friends and family are precious, while your here learn to give, be empathetic, be generous and loving and always Stay Positive!

Svart Crown have premiered a new song titled “Thermageddon.” This track is from the band’s new album “Wolves Among The Ashes,” which will be released on February 7.
JB Le Bail commented:
“We are again pretty excited to reveal the first track of our new album Wolves Among The Ashes, ‘Thermageddon’. It was the first track we wrote for this album, and it shows a certain desire to come back to the blackened death metal we loved in the late 90’s: uncompromising, direct and with no superfluous element. But we cannot ignore that some doors were opened on our past releases and I am pretty sure that everyone is going to be surprised by what will happen next… This time, too, everything has been under the supervision of our Nganda “Francis Caste”, who captured our best sound production to date. Last but not least, Dehn Sora gave us the perfect post apocalyptic vibe that this album needed.
We are the angels of our fall. The enemies of ourselves. Our own predators. Wolves among the ashes.”
“Wolves Among The Ashes” Track Listing:
01. “They Will Not Take Our Death In Vain”
03. “Art Of Obedience”
04. “Blessed Be The Fools”
05. “At The Altar Of Beauty”
06. “Down To Nowhere”
08. “Living With The Enemy”
