Incubus To Headline Desmond Tutu Tribute Concert

Incubus will be headlining a special acoustic event on the 85th birthday of Archbishop Desmond Tutu, who is a leader in the South African anti-Apartheid movement and an advocate for human rights around the world. The event will take place on October 7, at The Saban Theatre in Los Angeles, CA, and will also include: Steve Vai, Donovan, Spencer Davis, Fishbone and more. Proceeds from the show will go towards the Desmond Tutu Peace Foundation.

Ghost Are “Very Far Into The Writing” For Their Next Album

It looks like Ghost are making some significant progress on their next album. A Nameless Ghoul was recently interviewed by Billboard, and said the following;

“We haven’t really started the pre-production yet, but I am very far into the writing. I’m usually piling stuff up, and then by the time it comes to pre-production, that’s when you start going through it and see what you have. I think that we have a pretty good idea of what we’re doing next, but once we start recording I usually get very inspired and work a lot faster.”

Amon Amarth is pleased to announce that Jocke Wallgren is the new permanent band drummer. Jocke has been playing with Amon Amarth for all shows on the current “Jomsviking” world tour.
